At 40' Overall length - including extended bowsprit "Rainbow" is always a head-turner; This eye catching Ketch (often mistaken for being wood and much older than she is) "Rainbow" has been easily sailed by a couple for the last ten years enjoying the South coast UK and all it has to offer.
Her heavy weight means she sits comfortably at anchor and we have ridden out 40+ knot winds at anchor, with confidence as we watched others being thrown around like a rag doll in a washing machine. Her sail plan means there's always an easily managed gear for all conditions ...

We are pleased to have this beautiful classic gaff-rigged yacht on our books.
She is a 17ft late 1920/30 vessel, carvel built of larch over oak, originally as an open cockpit but with the later addition of a coachroof.
Her accommodation would be fine as a day boat or even a weekender and can be single-handed. She has a nice deep, safe cockpit.
She has a Tohatsu auxiliary outboard, should the need arise.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.

'Hangover' is a red, wooden English Folkboat, built in 1961 by Woodnutts of Bembridge, IoW. The carvel-built hull has been epoxy sheathed to make it watertight, and as a result the hull is in very good, dry condition, having been stored in an open-sided barn for the last few years. Stripped teak deck and cabin sole. The deck and coachroof appear dirty in the pictures, but this is just the result of barn storage dust and will easily be washed off. The rig is similar to that of a Nordic Folkboat. Mast and boom are wood.
Traditional mahogany fitted galley / dining / navigation area wit...
