Inspiration is a mostly original, 38ft Liverpool boat... The interior has changed very little over the years although there have been some equipment changes in terms of maintenance; for example the engine... The engine and gearbox were both replaced in September 2013 for a Beta Marine 30Hp engine and a PRM 120 gearbox. They have now only completed approximately 1,200 hours running.
