This Nicholson 48 ketch is a ongoing project. The interior needs completing. The interior has been re designed with a walk through to the aft cabin. The galley is due to go in this area but no galley installed. The aft cabin now has a large double bed and there is a toilet compartment with wash basin and shower the basin and shower need installing. The main saloon has the seating area installed but there are no bunk cushions and the joinery needs finishing. The head linings are not finished and at the aft end of the saloon the bulkhead needs finishing and electrics sorting out. The forward cabin has a large bed area with on-suite toilet and shower area. There is a hanging locker to starboard. The headings in the cabin need finishing. ONn deck there has been a new anchor winch installed and the rigging on the main mast has recently been replaced with new running rigging also fitted. There is also a recent Harken furling gear installed. There is no . mizzen mast on the boat but i do have a mast that is the correct dimensions but would need rigging. All the sails are there for the boat along with all the rigging blocks and lots of cordage. here are 2 recent batteries as the boat system is 24v. There are a total of 3 anchors 2 CQR and 1 danforth. There is a set of Tack tic instruments as shown in photos. The engine is a Perkins that starts easily. There is also a Yanmar generator that has not been tried or tested. For continuing the refit there is 3/4 of a sheet of Teak and Holly ply for the cabin sole. 6 sheets of Teak faced plywood for facing the ply in the aft cabin along with lots of Teak moldings as aft cabin is mainly mocked up and need the teak moldings to finish of. There are 2 un finished cabin doors. In the heads compartments the Formica still has the plastic protective covering on it. There is lots of equipment to finish the refit on board which is packed away in plastic boxes. She has not been out of the water for a while but was epoxied a number of years ago for which i have the paperwork. This boat is a Part one British registered boat. I was going to finish the refit myself then the other half talked sense into me as i am not a spring chicken and need to spend my time sailing rater than working.
