The restoration was carried out by Alan Staley, Wooden Boatbuilder of Faversham, Kent. The interior reworked, decks were replaced. new engine installed. 28ft wooden Smack Yacht, bought as an open boat from Portsmouth,1985. REDUCED Testers Boatyard, Hollowshore, Kent, sold her on, as a "restoration project" to her present owner in 1986. Originally, she was a twin masted Lugger, built circa 1895. It was decided that she would be re rigged to carry a Gaff Rig, A new rig was made, new spars and sails, and an engine was installed, The Boatyard built her a deck and a simple coach roof over a cabin.
