BIRDHAM POOL MARINA West Sussex UK|
I am selling my beautiful Nicholson 39. I bought with a view to post retirement sailing but my plans have changed. In the mean time I have been progressively improving her. Among the things that I have done are the following: new teak toerail - Spring 2017; new tekdek - Summer 2017; new standing rigging - Spring 2017; replacement prop shaft and deep sea seal - Summer 16; new Raymarine touchscreen chartplotter/radar - 2015; new cruising chute and kit/ sail covers - 2015; new dinghy and liferaft - 2015. All work has been done by professionals as has all routine maintenance and mechanical servicing. She is clean and tidy and ready to find a new home. Available for any inspection/survey.
We have sailed her very lightly - 2019 no sailing;2018 1 week sailing;2017 1 week sailing. Before that she was in Brighton Marina and only day sailed occasionally. The cruising chute has only had an hour of use one summer day in 2015. For us she has been a joy and much sweeter than our other boats but plans change. Much as I might prefer to keep her, I am not going to sail her now and she is entitled to be looked after by somebody else. The new owner can have my Camper and Nicholson Owners Handbook which has all the detailed specs and even the original suppliers of all the various equipment on the boat!
