Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Canard, a French built launch now available as a cruising houseboat on a secure residential mooring.
Canard is in need of some internal updating and a small amount of hull work, which is reflected in the price, She is currently on hard standing ready to make any work needed easier to accomplish.
Canard currently offers two double berths, a saloon and galley, and a toilet and hand basin. The toilet area could be turned into a wet room with shower quite easily. The galley has a two ring hob, oven and grill, fridge, sink and ample storage and work surface. The saloon also houses a log burning stove, a great focal point that also heats the entire boat.
As well as converting a wet room area, Canard would benefit from a small gas combi boiler for hot water and extra heating, as well as some decorative updating.
She was last surveyed in 2015, and there are two small patches needed on the hull before she can return to her berth, being out of the water she is in an ideal position for anyone looking to work on her or get her surveyed.
The twin Peugeot marinised diesel engines were used regularly until recently, and would benefit from a full service.
Canard is surprisingly spacious, and with a relatively small amount of work could again be a lovely cruising home.
